Background
Ginger Crumbo, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, earned her doctorate
from Spalding University and has been working with children and families
for over 25 years. She received extensive training in Play Therapy
while working in New York, and has served as Director of Children’s
Services for a community mental health center in Indiana and as Clinical
Director for a large group practice in Ohio. Dr. Crumbo has been published
in the area of gender roles in children and involved in research on
ADHD, academic anxiety, cognitive processing, and early childhood development.
In 2006 she was part of an ABC PrimeTime Live special series which looked
at the Family Court System in Jefferson County.
Dr. Crumbo works with children as young as three and also specializes
in the treatment of children and families who have experienced trauma,
including physical abuse, sexual abuse, and parental separation. Dr. Crumbo
also works with individuals with aquired brain injury, first responders, and
domestic violence survivors.
Dr. Crumbo is licensed in both Kentucky and Indiana. She enjoys speaking
to professional and community groups.
